Germany is one of the most experienced teams in this EURO 16. Yesterday, however, the second youngest player on the field for Germany proved that you don't require experience to make the difference. Bad news for Mario Götze who probably just lost his spot in the starting lineup!

After an amazing long distance goal from Jérôme Boateng, Julian Draxler used his astonishing dribbling skills to eliminate his direct opponent and made an assist for Mario Gomez to secure the score. He was definitely the most active player on the field, and he got rewarded by scoring the third goal. After Mats Hummels deflected corner with a header, he curled a brilliant volley into the top left hand corner of Kovacic’s goal.

With an assist and a goal, Julian Draxler scored 95 points, which makes him the best U23 of the day, but also highest scoring talent since the beginning of the EURO 16! We are sceptical about Draxler´s stay at VfL Wolfsburg if he keeps playing at this level!
