This recent Bayern signing made CR7 look a bit old

Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t like to be second best but even will have to admit that he was eclipsed by Renato Sanches during Portugal's Euro 2016 quarter-final victory over Poland. Being one of Europe's most expensive teenagers he levelled the score up with an absolute stunner of a goal and delivered the crucial equaliser. Not only his goal is worth mentioning, but also his strong pass accuracy of 94%! We think this is only the beginning of the rise of Renato Sanches and are quite sure this was not his last outstanding performance at this tournament!

Born in Lisbon to parents from Cape Verde, Sanches is an aggressive player with the energy to drop back and do the dirty work in defence and the ability to feed his front men with pinpoint passes. With his box-to-box style and braided hair, Sanches has drawn comparisons with Dutchman Edgar Davids and his recent 35mn Euro move to Germany's FC Bayern Munich has only led increased expectations in the 18-year old. Renato Sanches is literally everywhere on and off the pitch!

This U23 player is the real engine of France

Unfortunately, our most favourite team didn’t make it to the semifinals. We are all disappointed, but we can’t deny that the performance by the Frenchies was brilliant. And, above all, we got the chance to see again the real Paul Pogba.
