It finally happened! The first player in this EURO2016 to be twice the matchday’s best U23 is Ben Davies, and let’s be honest, what a great surprise!
However, Davies’s game didn’t start the best way possible. After only 5 minutes, he got booked for an obstruction on Kevin De Bruyne. At this really moment, he knew he was going to miss the semi-final if Wales won the game. And they did, thanks to a header from captain Williams, a great dribbling inspiration from Robson-Kanu and another header from Vokes to secure a 3-1 which sends Wales in the semi-finals for the first time in their history.

Despite this yellow card, the player from Tottenham Hotspur stayed focus on his game and protected the Welsh post. You don't believe us? Check these stats: 11 defensive actions and no defensive errors!
Next game will be harder than expected for Wales, since Davies and Aaron Ramsey - the blondie who made two assists yersteday - won’t play against Portugal of Renato Sanches, the rising star and best talent of Tursday’s game.
